ndergraduate students of all majors who have an interest in criminal justice are encouraged to become members of the Criminal Justice Association.

Members of the CJA participate in a variety of service projects and academic activities including:

  • Raising money for local charities and social service organizations, including food pantries, domestic violence shelters, and homeless shelters.
  • Guest speakers are routinely invited to speak at meetings.
  • Visits to local criminal justice agencies.
  • CJA has co-sponsored the Annual CJS Career and Internship Fair and several department conferences.
  • Each year the CJA participates in Homecoming activities by building a float for the parade.

To become a member, simply complete the membership form and return it along with the membership dues to the Criminal Justice Sciences Department in Schroeder Hall 447 ($10/year - cash or check payable to Criminal Justice Association).
