he curriculum for the bachelor's degree provides you with an opportunity to receive a diversified education.

Coursework in criminal justice is multidiscplinary, including coursework in law enforcement, corrections, the courts, and related social and behavioral sciences. Your degree will prepare you for entry-level positions in the justice system, as well as graduate or law school.

Major Course Requirements

All students are required to complete 43 semester hours of required classes in addition to 21 semester hours of required major and non-major electives for the major. In addition, students will need to complete their general education requirements, as well as other university wide requirements as listed in the undergraduate catalog.   • CJS 304 Criminal Law. Beginning with the 08-09 catalog, Criminal Law will be offered as CJS 208. This course will also satisfy previous catalog requirements for CJS 304.
