Students may pursue either a Bachelors of Arts or Science degree for Criminal Justice Sciences. What is the difference between the two degrees?
The B.A. degree requires that student show proficiency in a foreign language by completing a language at the 115 level.
The B.S. degree does not require a foreign language but students are expected to have increased knowledge of the natural sciences, mathematics, and technology. This is demonstrated by completing an additional course in science, math, or technology beyond those taken for general education.
Students follow the requirements outlined in the Undergraduate Catalog for the year they entered the University. If attendance is not continuous, a student must meet the requirements specified in the catalog in effect when he or she reenters the University. Your Academic Progress Summary (available from the Student Services and Referral Center) indicates your catalog year.
During the early part or your senior year, submit an Application for Bachelors Degree. The deadline is specified in the University Calendar. Visit the Commencement Web Site for more information.
